When it comes to producing some really great melodic “Rhythm & Vibe” (as he would call it), Kenyon Dixon is no stranger.
The Los Angeles (Watts) native Singer & Songwriter is trading in his background mic as he transitions to the center stage with his fifth project, Supafly. Dixon has worked as a backing vocalist for some of the most influential musicians, including Nick Jonas, Usher, Beyonce, Tyrese, Kelly Rowland, John Legend, Pharrell and many more. While Kenyon was managing his own project he was able to contribute his writing skills to Tyrese’s Grammy nominated album Open Invitation and his latest smash project Black Rose along with TGT’s (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank) Grammy nominated album Three Kings and more.
The 2x Grammy nominated artist has stepped into the new age R&B revolution with his funky single “SupaFly.” Kenyon is letting the ladies know, “I’m a hell of a guy you’d be a winner with a guy like me.” The 7 track album is Kenyon’s first entirely self-produced/written project and it jams with a charm. Kenyon stretches his voice in a clever 90’s style a cappella arrangement in SupaFly (intro), and it is the smoothest sound.
Kenyon is already stirring up a fan base and becoming a ‘New School’ trendsetter for modern R&B. Check out Kenyon’s album Supafly.
