The summer season always brings new music. And we’re here for it!!

Alicia Keys just dropped her new single ‘In Common’ on iTunes after a four-year hiatus. The 15 time Grammy winner teamed up with Canadian producer Illangelo, who has worked with Drake and The Weeknd, on the single.

The infectious Latin flavored song is a switch up from Alicia’s fifth album Girl On Fire that was released in 2012. The mother of two sets the mood with a sensual yearning for an undeniable love as she sings,

We got way too much in common since I’m being honest with you

Who wants to love somebody like me?

You wanna love somebody like me?

If you could love somebody like me,

you must be messed up too

This single is the lead effort off her upcoming sixth studio album set to be released later this summer. A. Keys describes her upcoming release as a reflection of “her roots in NYC and hip-hop culture” as well as “who she is today as an activist, woman and artist.”

Alicia will be performing the new single on SNL this weekend for the first time. But don’t think she’ll be in hiding after that. Swizz Beatz’s wife will be joining NBC’s “The Voice” this fall as a judge.

Take a listen to Alicia’s new song below!

And take a look at Snoop Dogg’s reaction to the single:
