We may not have the pleasure of tuning into MTV’s TRL or BET’s 106&Park, but that hasn’t stopped artist from bringing their music to life! Now that we have Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, you’ll never know where your favorite artist will premiere their new music videos. Artist such as Beyoncé and Frank Ocean have blessed us with Visual Albums, dropping a video for each of their songs on the album.

These amazing music videos are not created by the artist alone.  Today we are amongst some of the hottest directors such as Colin Tilley, Hype Williams, Director X and many many more. Here are 8 of the latest and hottest throwback videos that will have you LIT all Spring 17’.

“Everyday We Lit” – YFN Lucci & PnB Rock

Nothing screams spring break louder than South Beach, Miami, and YFN Lucci and PnB Rock.  They show us how to turn up on a Yacht during a trip to everyone’s favorite spring destination.

“Make Love” – Gucci Mane ft. Nicki Minaj

The sexiest scene of the year so far has definitely been Nicki Minaj sitting on an inflatable unicorn during the video of “Make Love.” Gucci and Nicki definitely bought the season in with expensive cars, sexy ladies, and hot bars.

“Party” – Chris Brown ft. Usher & Gucci Mane

Chris Brown with the dance moves! Breezy definitely knows how to get the party started. Accompanied by Usher, Gucci Mane and the hottest kid dancers alive, Chris taught us how to party. After watching “Party” video, Chris has got us all ready for his “Party Tour” coming to a city near you this spring.

“You” – Keyshia Cole ft. Remy Ma & French Montana

Summer 17 is on it’s way and NOW is the time to leave anyone that isn’t making you happy! K.C. gives us the hottest break-up anthem and Remy Ma and French Montana help her do so. Remy and Keyshia tie up Keyshia’s no good man, letting him know that they are not the one’s to play with. The video was inspired by Keyshia’s break up with former NBA player Daniel Gibson.

“Mo’ Bounce” – Iggy Azalea

Ms. Azelea has all the ladies wanting to bounce what their momma gave them in the video from her new single “Mo Bounce.” Iggy even mentioned in an interview with New Zealand radio station Nova 96.9 that twerking to “Mo’ Bounce” has helped her lose 15 pounds!

“It’s a lot, I went on a meal plan before the video because I knew I would have to be dancing fairly skimply dressed,” she said. “I did a lot of rehearsals actually, and man I lost 15 pounds in a week dancing to that song!

Ladies, I think we have found our new workout plan to get these bodies ready for Summer 17.

Now let’s throw it back to a few springs in the early 2000’s when we rushed to our televisions to see the premiere of the newest videos.

“Bossy” – Kelis

Kelis had all the ladies chanting “You don’t have to love me, you don’t even have to like me, but you will respect me. This video had everyone feeling like a BOSS! This song will forever be the anthem for all the Boss Chicks.


“Good Good” – Ashanti

You know what they say…when it gets warm out, it’s harder to keep your man, but Ashanti had all the ladies feeling confident in their relationships. Ashanti taught the ladies all you need is that “Good Good” and your man will keep coming  back spring, summer, winter and fall!


“Beautiful” – Snoop Dogg ft. Pharrell Williams

Now if you didn’t want to hop on a flight straight to Brazil after Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful,” then you must be crazy! This video has some of the most beautiful women and clearest beaches ever seen. Make sure you add Brazil to your travel bucket list if you haven’t already.
