It’s 7 am, you’ve hit the snooze button for the third time, you have to be to work by 8 and you have at least a 30 minute commute to work. Sound familiar? If you’re running late, you definitely don’t have your usual 20 minutes you set aside for your morning makeup routine. So what are your options? Skip your makeup ritual entirely, or find a way to do it in half the time? Have no fear, EGL beauty team is here to the rescue! We have A1 makeup shortcuts sure to cut your makeup routine in half and get you out the door way ahead of schedule.
1. Tinted moisturizer or BB cream instead of Foundation
Foundation and concealer can take time to apply when using a brush or applicator. Tinted moisturizer goes on with hands in seconds.
2.Use double duty products i.e. blushes that double as eyeshadow
Shimmering eyeshadow can also be used as a highlighter/ illuminator.
3.Roll on eyeshadow instead of powder and a brush
Powder eyeshadow applied with a brush needs several coats and that takes time, cut the time in half with roll on eye shadow.
4.Use clear mascara instead of black mascara
Clear mascara can be used for eyelashes and to define brows. It’s the perfect 2 in 1.
5. Bronzer can be used to contour
Highlighting and contouring can require lots of detail, but if you’re a pro and have come up with a few hacks you can contour pretty quickly. If your bronzer is a dark enough shade, place it in the right spots and you’re good to go.
Give these makeup shortcuts a try during your next morning ritual.
