First, select a wall to be the accent wall in your office. For maximum effect, your accent wall should be the first wall a visitor would look at when walking through your office front door. Next, visit your local paint store to pick out the perfect accent color. Paint your accent wall to infuse your office with the P-O-P of creativity and color your office desperately needs.

Who says custom designed office chairs have to be expensive? Make office chairs your statement piece by dressing up office chairs with unique patterns. Trust me, your office will P-O-P with this DIY Project.
Supplies: White chair cover (IKEA), black Sharpie
First, purchase white chair covers from Ikea. Next, dot the chair covers with black dots courtesy of a regular black Sharpie (I’m sure you have a hundred of Sharpie’s laying around in your office). For optimal effect the dots should vary in size – some big, some small. Finally, slip the chair covers on the chairs and voila! your office has a customized DIY P-O-P.
- Make Your Own Bookcase…Literally
While most bookcases are made with the one size fits all philosophy, most offices vary greatly in their measurement dimensions. Is your office too small to fit a large bookcase? Make your own bookcase and make your office P-O-P using binder clips of course!

First, arrange shelving blocks on office floor. Next attach binder clips to shelving blocks. Then, position bookcase along office wall.
