2017 was definitely a year to remember. Let’s rewind to some of our favorite fashion moments from the heavyweights that never let us down.

The Daredevil – Solange

Solange is undoubtedly a fashion icon. In recent years, we have become more obsessed with her style and unapologetic spirit. This Texas raised beauty doesn’t believe in rules or standards. She creates them herself. Solange’s stylist, Shiona Turini, helps to create aesthetics that fashion gods can’t help but ooze over.

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: Solange wore Helmut Lang to the 2017 Surface Travel Awards and it was everything. (Pictured on the left)

The Chameleon – Zendaya

Stylist, Law Roach, and The Greatest Showman actress are the ultimate dream team. We love seeing Zendaya on any and every red carpet because we know it’s a guaranteed slay. Also, the fact that every look is perfected from her hair to her nail polish, proves that she can do no wrong. Her street style is nothing to play with as well since she loves a good pair of sneakers.

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: When Zendaya attended the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards in a $38 silky, metallic dress from her collection, Daya by Zendaya. The forest green boots and an embroidered choker made it everything.

Most Likely to Succeed – Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross made all of our dreams come true in 2017 when she teamed up with JcPenney for an amazing collection. Who wouldn’t want to raid this black-ish star’s closet? *raises hand* We have been in love with Tracee’s style since she was plastered on our television screens as “Joan” in the hit series, Girlfriends. She just gets it! And might we add that she is aging like fine wine.

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: Donning her own tuxedo, paired with a fanny pack and red boots, Tracee’s style is so dope! (Pictured in the middle)

Most Unforgettable – Beyonce

Mrs. Carter has officially won Instagram. Mama can post a picture and the world literally STOPS! 2017 was an amazing year for Beyonce as she gave birth to her twins, Rumi and Sir, and bounced back like Blac Chyna’s badonkadonk.

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: Her flawless recreation of Lil Kim’s best looks for Halloween. It was so unexpected but so perfect.

Most Unique – Celine Dion

“Near, far, wherever you are…” Celine came to serve in 2017! Again, stylist, Law Roach manages to create such astonishing looks for this iconic woman. Celine has always been a vision of grace and class but now her style screams, “I am here!” Roach told, InStye, “That’s what I love about Celine though. The fact that she wears something like a full-on, head-to-toe python look and owns it.”

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: Celine performed at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards in a winged-sleeve Stephane Rolland Couture dress and we almost died! (Pictured in the middle)

Best Natural Beauty – Yara Shahidi

This young activist stole our hearts as young Olivia Pope and showed us her versatile style in black-ish. Yara most recently was give her own spin-off, grown-ish, focusing on her character, Zoey Johnson. She heads to college and begins her journey to adulthood and she quickly discovers that everything isn’t going to go her way when she leaves the nest. When she’s not in front of the camera she is serving it up on a red carpet or advocating for justice. How can you not adore Yara!

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: The 2017 SAG Awards when she wore the colorful but gorgeous Naeem Khan gown (pictured on the left).

Best All-Around – Rihanna

“That Rihanna reign just won’t let up!” And we don’t want it to! Last year, Rihanna released Fenty Beauty and within one month the brand made $72 million. She had very reason to continue to give us fashion realness and of course she didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to choose one moment that was our favorite; her street style alone is killer!

Favorite fashion moment of 2017: For her Fenty Beauty launch party, she rocked an Oscar de la Renta getup and it was fire!
