Every woman has her list of fantasies. Girls are raised with ideas about a “perfect man” and a “dream wedding;” working women often dream of vacations in tropical locations or sometimes just an uninterrupted bubble bath. No matter what type of women we are, fantasy drives a lot of what we do, so why not consider bringing fantasy into the bedroom?
Sexual role-play, acting out erotic scenes as a form of foreplay or to enhance sexual experience, is a great way to release ideas from your imagination that you don’t usually get to experience. During role-play, partners can discuss what sorts of acts they would like to incorporate into their sex life. It could be a good way to spice things up and keep sex from being mundane and repetitive.
Common “roles” for role-play include the sexy maid; naughty teacher and attentive student; the police officer questioning a civilian; or a doctor-patient relationship. You could try those, but feel free to let your imagination run wild. You should also keep in mind that role-playing isn’t just about the sex, it’s about the time and effort you put into pleasing your partner (and vice versa) – expressing your desires and being open to your partner’s fantasies can lead to improved sex and a better union in general. While the physical act of sex can be important to the relationship, communicating is equally important.
