Since the first season of WeTV’s hit reality show, Braxton Family Values, pretty much everyone fell in love with the baby of the bunch: Tamar Braxton.
Always letting it known she did not want to be a “doo-wop-bop” singer for the rest of her life, Tamar’s aspirations to become a solo superstar was consistently part of her storyline on both reality shows (Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince).
FINALLY we get to hear what she’s made of in the newly released single, “Love and War”.
And the wait has been worth it…
In the traditional R&B song, Braxton describes the reality behind all relationships: the ups and downs of love. Something we all can definitely relate to!
“Somebody said everyday… was gon’ be sunny skies.
Only Marvin Gaye and lingerie… I guess somebody lied.
We started discussing it to fighting then, ‘Don’t touch me please’,
Then it’s, ‘Let’s stop the madness, just come lay with me’,
And truth be told, I’m waving my flag… before it goes bad.
Guess we made it this far on for better or worse.
I want to feel it even if it hurts…
If I gotta cry… to get to the other side,
Let’s go ‘cause we’re gon’ survive…”
