Have you ever heard the saying, “Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number?” Well, this saying holds a lot of truth, but has a few drawbacks. Womanhood is a time to celebrate, have fun but smash the heck out of some goals. In your 20s, it is the ideal time that you are out of your own, and finally on your “grown woman” status. Turning 30 marks a turning point, and can often trigger a panic attack or crisis. Don’t worry, here is a list of experiences EVERY woman should have before turning the big 3-0!

  1. Learn How to Budget and Get Out of Debt: Start paying off any credit card debt or student loans, so you don’t have to stress about it later.
  2. Learn How to Network: This is a part of your personal and professional developments that will help you find jobs, love, friends and business opportunities.
  3. Get a Hobby: Make sure you find something you love and have a passion for so you don’t burn out.
  4. Appreciate Your Family and Friends: You need to make sure you keep close contact with your loved ones, don’t forget them while pursuing everything else.
  5. Visit a Foreign Country: This is a great time to take the time to see the world, so get your passport ready.
  6. Put Your Money Up: This is a great time to save some money and gain interest. Start putting up $100 each month and watch it grow into a nice savings account.
  7. Start Working on Your Healthy Habits: Create a healthy regimen to have a healthy body, and mind.
  8. Learn to Cook: Being able to make your own meals versus going out for food, is great on your pockets and impressive to friends and family when they visit you.
  9. Travel Alone: It can be one of the most liberating experiences, allowing you to do what you want on your own time.
  10. Plan a Girl’s Getaway: Your high school and college friendships won’t last forever and many will need to help with thriving after everyone embarks on life.
  11. Give Back and Volunteer: The world needs your help, and giving back is such a rewarding experience. Find a cause, locate a charity, and go volunteer your time.
  12. Date, Date, Date: This is the time to figure out yourself, and what you want as a potential partner. There isn’t a set time to fall in love, so have fun meeting new people and discovering more about you.
  13. Relax: Life kind of happens, and you won’t have all the answers or everything figured out. Learn that some things aren’t in your control, and to go with the flow.

This list of experiences can be for any woman at any age, but it gives you a guideline for what to look forward to. This is your life, enjoy it and live it up.
